Marzia Demaria is a phD student with a NRRP scholarship at the University of Calabria. Her research project, Landscapes of Calabria I. Monasteries and convents, concerns a digital atlas that aims to map the regional monsteries and convents built from the 6th to the mid-16th century.
During the 2023-24 academic year, she conducted organizational and scietific secretarial activities for the exhibition project “Calabria angioina (1266-1382). Novità gotiche e tradizione bizantina al tramonto del medioevo” edited by professor Stefania Paone. The exhibition catalogue was published in February 2024. It contains her five publications regarding medieval calabrian sculptures of the Angevin period.
